Single-Camera Production:
A mode of production where one camera operates at a time and the shots are done in the most economically efficient order. Also single-camera techniques normally involves taking shots in a sequence, for example, 2,4,6,8 then once they have taken these shots they edit it with the other scenes that they have taken. The single-camera setup, is a method of shooting films and different television programs. Some advantages of single-camera are as follows;
- You can take different multiple shots.
- It allows you to take shots from different angles.
- Single-camera is cheaper than a multiple camera.
- It is easier to edit the scenes together.
Some disadvantages of using single-camera techniques are as follows;
- It takes longer to film.
- You can only get one angle at one time.
- It takes a lot more time to edit and put it together.
